My student gets everything right, but the system marks the answers as incorrect.

In most cases, this is caused by the use of capital letters. Students sometimes unintentionally start their answer with a capital letter, or the Auto Capitalisation setting may be enabled in their browser or on their device.

In vocabulary exercises, capital letters are taken into account when marking answers, as English uses different capitalisation rules from Dutch. For example, this applies to days of the week, months, languages, nationalities, and public holidays.
