Why isn't the Smart Goals progress bar increasing when my student completes the assignments?

It is possible for a student to complete their assignments while the Smart Goals progress bar does not increase. (See screenshot.)

This usually happens when the student did not achieve a Pass on the Unit Test. The system will then automatically assign additional practice activities covering the topics where the student did not score sufficiently. Once these activities have been completed, the student must retake the Unit Test.

While the student is working on these additional practice activities, their progress is temporarily adjusted. As a result, the student will not make further progress compared to the point at which they first started the Unit Test (100%).

Once the student has completed the additional practice activities and then passes the Unit Test, the Smart Goals progress bar will start increasing again.
